T O P I C R E V I E WGalacticCoreExplosion If so, you may just see me there. (btw, I don't live in WV, am traveling there from a different state). GalacticCoreExplosion Speaking of which...Kind of bummed that I will be missing Sunday meditation for the 3rd (or 4th?) time in a row...but... at the same time, kind of excited to go to to the Constellation Burn in WV this weekend and let me freak flag fly high. Bowie to Justin, how freaky we gonna be? Justin to Bowie, pretty freaky David Bowie... pretty freaky.(We share the same b-day).RandallWhat is it?GalacticCoreExplosion Have you heard of Burning Man? It's like a much smaller offshoot of Burning Man. Some call them "regional burns". Being slightly tipped to the introvert side of the spectrum, the one time I went to Burning Man, was definitely overwhelming/sensory overload, and the hedonistic aspect was a little over much (though hypocritically I did take part in some of that). I did enjoy the spirit of community and openness there. Everything is shared/gifted, no money or service exchange. I enjoyed the much smaller size of this one, but it didn't quite have the same spirit of community and openness. It was a very bittersweet experience. Met someone there who I felt a deeper connection with, but she seems to be part of a larger, continuing pattern of attracting/being attracted to (?) emotionally unavailable women. RandallAh, thanks! Yes, I'm very familiar with Burning Man! Sounds like fun!
